Trolleybuses may be a foreign concept to some readers. Think of them as a mix between a bus and a tram: A bus powered by toucing the wires above it with trolley poles. While viewed as outdated for the last decade, recently they started gaining popularity again with the rise of electric vehicles. In the case of this story, or at least the earliest itteration of it I found, the most common type of trolleybus in Bucharest would have been the Ikarus 415
