2025-05-07 - Home - Exhaustion
I am very tired brothers.
Every day persists to
blend into each other.
Each day repeating the same pattern.
Job unchanging,
unfulfilled on most fronts.
Such a place
puts a man into a downward spiral
that keeps him slave
to his circumstances.
Exhaustion of ones life
drains the motivation necessarry
to change it.
Lack of discipline, as such,
which is the case
for most young men these days,
your writer included,
locks the chains
on his neck,
and his hands,
and his legs.
When you need the discipline
you are to unmotivated to form it.
When you don't need it,
you believe you never will.
This was always the case,
and it was strong will
and hardship
that helped men without discipline build it.
But those things are not self-evident
until it is too late.
As such a primary role of the father
was to build such dicipline
into their boys from their youth.
Life was never more full
of engaging things than now,
yet boredom is more prevelant now,
than ever in history.
This is due to
that lack of discipline,
for it was that,
in fact,
which kept boredom at bay.
And boredom, lack of motivation,
habits, and discipline,
those lead to depression.
Boomers may have destroyed
the structures of society,
but it was Gen X fathers who
destroyed the individuals who
will make the society.
Thot daughter, or
jobless loveless son?
That's all there is left.
2025-04-27 - Home - Frustration
Micro USB is a vanishing cable type. Literally so. A couple weeks ago I had multiple in my house. Today there are none to be found. Where did they go? When will they return? Will I have to buy new ones? It looks like I might have to! But why should I if there are still some in my house? Just because I don't know where they are that can't justify me buying new ones. Surely they will re-appear some day...
I tell you when they will re-apper. When I buy new ones. So then I will have 5 or more in my house. If I bought new ones today, they will appear as soon as the postman knocks on the door. If I didn't buy them today, they will never re-appear.
2025-04-06 - Home - Pondering
You know, the more I dig into old books, or political texts, or even, (GOD FORBID) old textbooks and institutional records, the more I find what are essentially banned books. Books that have been out of print for so long that you cannot buy copies of them, or if one is available, its price is far beyond what a regular person can afford. I intend to do something about this. We may start a publication house. Many are out of copyright. Maybe will put out other miscelaneous things like out of print board games (See: The Campaign for North Africa: The Desert War 1940-43).
